As part of Beaconhouse’ commitment towards academic excellence and personal development of our students, four students from Beaconhouse Newlands, Lahore were selected for the Student Exchange Programme with Beaconhouse Newlands International School, Malaysia.
After a stringent selection process, Azra Emilia Ali, Bakht Bharri Khan, Shahmeer Mustafa of Class IX and Sultan Noman of Class XI, spent part of this term in Kuala Lumpur. Not only did these students get a chance to study alongside their Malaysian peers but also gained exposure to sights and culture of a new country as well as acquired a variety of life skills while they were away from home. The students were accompanied by their teacher Ms Farah Iqbal. The programme is a great example of cross-cultural cooperation and coordination and we hope to host students from Malaysia in the future as well.
